SVN Access

MASSIVE EDIT:

Ok so the last couple of days have been rather hectic. As many of you are aware, the svn server was inaccessible due to an IP change at my house (grr Verizon...). As a result of this and upon request of Gini, I have formally split the SVN into two distinct and separate repositories, one for wonder and one for weaver. However, in the process, I managed to make my grand blunder of the year and delete the control list and password file for all users currently registered in the system. So sorry everyone, but your going to need to get a new username and password. It can be the same as last time, since I have no record of the old ones.

Also, as a result of the change, the original SVN is NO LONGER FUNCTIONAL, so any changes that you have made since 12AM Saturday October the 17th will not be able to be comitted. If you are in this boat, please overwrite the files you have changed in the new repo once you get a username and password. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I am also using a new system. The web form made a very broken control list (the space in username thing was my fault, sorry about that), so I am changing the way usernames and passwords are requested. Please PM / Email / AIM me (truefalsednr) your requested username and password. Again, sorry for the inconvenience, but I think this will be better. I am also keeping the user / password list in SVN, so this shouldn't happen again.

Once you have a username and password, the svn repositories are as follows:

One Hit Wonder - http://svn.cjntaylor.com/wonder
World Weaver - http://svn.cjntaylor.com/weaver

Please check out a copy and overwrite any files that you have changed since Saturday (see above). After making initial changes, please commit so that everyone else gets the updated files. I apologize in advance if this results in any lost work, I take full responsibility for the loss. Also, please remember to UPDATE OFTEN when using the new repository. Initially this is going to be a bit hairy but it should work itself out within a week or so.

Thanks. Please contact me if you have any problems.

//pleads for patience, this wont happen again

To add a user account:
http://gdc.pwdev.org/user

This will be accessible for one week only (until 10/16/09). All other accounts must be formally requested. PM or email me with your requested username and password.

When I go there it says "Authentication Required."

You, and I, have missed the one week window to get access to the SVN via the web. Sorry, but you will have to ask for one in person/pm/email. :(

Sorry about that everyone, you should be able to access the web user interface. I will leave it active until Friday of this week.

ALSO, IMPORTANT:

Please do not put SPACES in your username. Someone named "Thor Thunderfist" already tried to do that, and corrupted his input (and part of the control list). Please everyone check your svn and PM me if if doesnt work. I can also sort any problems on Friday in student orgs. Please do not try to break this system, if I have to make manual edits due to bad input I will shut off the web interface for good.

Thanks.
